The shared network of the Vall d'Erro and Roncesvalles
We facilitate access to the Internet through the construction and management of a shared fiber optic network thanks to the various actors who have promoted, financed, or use and connect to it. In this way, we allow those who want to be users to be on equal terms.
We defend the human right to access the Internet as a basic tool for action and social inclusion; therefore, our network always promotes social, solidarity, and collaborative economy, and develops the information and communication society while eliminating the digital divide between urban and rural areas.

Anyone can access and connect to it without discrimination.
Free
Those who connect can engage in economic, social, and cultural activities, contribute content, or simply exchange it.
Neutral
We ensure the non-interference of any public or private entity in the content that circulates and in the technology that is used.
Questions about the shared network

The necessary investment to carry out the project is obtained through many agents, including the citizens themselves, the Town Halls of the Vall d'Erro and Roncesvalles, and the Guifi.net Foundation.

By making a donation you help to grow the project and ensure that the network is shared with all participants.

In addition, this contribution allows you to enjoy a monthly reduction, for life, on your monthly fee.
As a user of the fiber optic of Erro and Roncesvalles, you have the option to eliminate the concept of 'line fee' from your monthly billby making a contribution of €1,200tax deductible. By making this contribution:

You will coverthearrival costof the network to your home or business.

You will never have to pay for this concept with the operators again.

It means enjoying adiscount of €17on the billmonthly.
Example in case of making a contribution: if your monthly bill is €45, you would only have to pay €28 for Internet access service, as the infrastructure would already be covered.

In addition, this €1,200 istax deductible on the income tax return(up to 39.5% deduction), as it is a project of public interest channeled through a non-profit entity . Check the donation system here.
You decide. At the shared network of Erro | Roncesvalles we inform and give the option for the user to have the possibility to permanently eliminate the cost of 'line fee' which is €17 monthly, that is, €204 each year.
If you make the donation of €1,200, after 3.8 years you will have amortized the amount.
If you don't, you will always pay these €17 as with the rest of the telecommunications companies.
It is not mandatory to make a donation as long as other resources or a bulk of donations from the rest of the participants are found to cover the projects. However, it is important to know that this way, you also help to extend the network to the rest of the neighbors in the area, thus making the Internet accessible to everyone and eliminating the digital divide.
You have two ways to make the payment:

Or you can also do it through the SEPA mandate. Contact us and we will send you the document that orders the bank domiciliation.

You have the possibility to make the donation in a single payment (€1,200).

Or split into two payments (€600*2) or up to three payments (€400*3).
In case of being split, the payments must be made during the months following the first payment. You can make half of the payment before installation and the other half once connected.
