How is it financed?
The necessary investment to carry out the project is achieved through many agents, including citizens themselves, the City Council, and the Foundation.
How can I reduce the price?
We give you the option to eliminate the concept of "line fee" from your monthly bill. This way, your rate will be significantly reduced by not including this concept. You can do this by contributing to the financing of the project through a contribution to the Guifi.net Foundation.

Is it worth making the contribution?
You decide. We are the only ones who inform and provide the user with the option to permanently eliminate the cost of the "line fee" which is 17€ per month, that is, 204€ each year.
If you do not make it, you will always pay those 17 euros like with the rest of the telecommunications companies.
Is it mandatory to make a contribution?
It is not mandatory. You can make the contribution before having the connection or up to 2 months after the activation date.
The contribution can be made all at once or in up to three installments.
How can I make a contribution?

Do I have to pay an activation fee?
