The annual meeting of the guifi.net community

From November 4 to 6

The #SAX (Health, Love, and Network) is the motto of the annual meeting of the guifi.net community. A meeting that celebrated its first edition in 2005 in Vic (Catalonia) and that, over the years and with some pauses, has been organized in different locations across the territory thanks to the local communities and groups that grow the open, free, and neutral commons network, with the collaboration of the Guifi.net Foundation.

However, the #SAX is not just a meeting space exclusively for our guifi.net community, but it is also a place for individuals linked, passionate, and interested in the field of telecommunications and technology who seek to facilitate access for everyone to improve their daily lives.

#SAX is also synonymous with thinking about improvements and strengthening a more responsible, open, free, and neutral technological and telecommunications model that enhances our daily lives, other essential areas, and does not depend on large multinationals.

#SAX is also a way of understanding; it is a space to share and learn about experiences related (or not) to telecommunications that advocate for a more horizontal management and favor and promote the weaving of more human, circular, fair, solidarity-based, and sustainable economic management models.

After two years online due to covid19, we are returning to the in-person format of #SAX.
