The fifth edition of the Mobile Social Congress, organized by SETEM Catalunya, a non-governmental organization working to raise awareness about inequalities between North and South, denounce their causes, and promote personal and collective transformations to achieve a fairer and more supportive world.
The Congress aims to be a space for meeting and reflection on the predominant model of production and consumption of information and communication technologies.
This year's edition offers an overview of the violations and obstacles generated by the electronics industry and the shared struggles between the Global South and North in the sector.
Thus, on February 24, 25, and 26, you have the opportunity to learn about the causes of inequalities and impacts generated by the electronic sector and how to support technological sovereignty and fair electronics.
Guifi·net (Ramon Roca) will participate on Wednesday the 26th (7 pm), in the round table "TIC Consumption Alternatives, towards a fairer and more democratic model" along with eReuse (Mireia Roura) and Mansakas App (Oriol Alfambra), moderated by Opcions (Laia Treserra).
