The population of Saint Étienne (Loire, France) celebrates every two years the Biennale Internationale Design, an exhibition that lasts approximately one month and aims to give visibility to the existing industrial, cultural, and economic alternatives in the territory that help make cities and towns more participatory.
This year, within the fair, several talks and debates have been organized around the optimal conditions for participatory democracy in local governance and the construction of urban common goods.
The debate will also involve:
- Two members of Net Hood: a Non-Profit Organization that participates in various interdisciplinary research, education, and action projects through Do-It-Yourself tools and methodologies that help local actors network and support each other.
- President of the Federation of associative Internet access providers.
